We are happy to announce the ideal portable solution
for Casablanca - the Liberty!
Casablanca Liberty is MacroSystem's first portable
digital video editing system with a built-in
monitor!
But this isn't just any monitor - we have partnered
with Toshiba electronics and have implemented
Liberty on the Toshiba notebook with a swivel,
touch-screen.
With this touch-sensitive screen you can swivel it
around to display your work or you can flip it
around and down to that you can use the accompanying
stylus to edit right on your lap!
Of course, you can use the built-in touchpad,
integrated keyboard or connect a trackball/ keyboard
to edit as you do now.
The Liberty does not sacrifice
performance for portability as it is built with the
Intel Dual Core Processor with results on par with
the Solitaire and Renommee. The RAM and internal
hard drive specifics will be announced soon as we
will likely bring two models of the Casablanca
Liberty to North America.
In addition to the creative power associated with
video editing in the Smart Edit environment, Liberty
provides an additional benefit - upon boot-up, you
can choose to launch either Smart Edit or the
Windows operating system!
On the windows side, Liberty features many excellent
functions specifically for the touch-screen
environment under Windows XP Tablet Edition - with
features like the finger print recognition for
security and more.
The Casablanca Liberty includes a Dual-Layer DVD
drive for authoring DVDs, burning CDs and sharing
media through the Disk Transfer software, as well as
a fully functioning Ethernet port.
Liberty will release with Smart Edit
6, providing you with even more exciting features as
well as your choice of editing in Standard
Definition or HDV.
Another excellent advantage of the Casablanca
Liberty is Toshiba's full worldwide warranty on
hardware of three years. MacroSystem of course
handles all things related with Smart Edit and the
system is pre-installed.
Software specifics and pricing in North America is
expected shortly as we negotiate to bring our
customers the best systems at competitive pricing.
Casablanca Liberty requires the forthcoming
Operating System, Smart Edit 6 which we are
expecting in the first quarter of 2007. |
